ITALIAN CULTURE

There are a lot of significant must see things in Italy such as The Leaning Tower of Pisa, The Colloseum and The Bridge of Sighs. They also have alot of unique foods that are made there such as pizza, spaghetti, gelato and lasagne: My favourite! They have alot of fast and magnificent cars such as The Lamborghini, The Ferrari and The Lamborghini Polizia (police car). They say that italy, mainly Venice is one of the most romantic places in the world. They also have some traditions such as every different region (out of 20) has its own unique food and wine. Music is a very important part of the way italians live. They play music every day and they really enjoy music when they are on holidays, when there is a family celebration or on a special occassion.

CULTURAL GROUPS

I know that cultural groups usually eat similar things, live in the same area, wear the same clothing, have the same common beliefs, value and behaviour. They usually identify a group that have the same sociological, ethnographic or religious background. This describes what a culture does and what actually makes them a cultural group. There is alot of cultural groups such as Danish American, Australians and Fijians just to name a few.

AUSTRALIAN CULTURE

I know alot about Australian Culture because I live here. Different cultural groups also live in the same areas and we also have some unique things that are made in Australia. Meat pies, some lamb and we also have some features of our own such as The Big Banana, The Harbour Bridge and The Opera House. Australian have some of their traditions such as on April 25th they celebrate Anzac Day. They/we comemorate the soldiers who fought in Gallipoli and risked their lives for us. We also celebrate Christmas on 25th December where some people believe that we celebrate this because god's son Jesus was born. We also celebrate Australia Day on 26th January and this is when in 1788 Captain James Cook settled and Declared Australia.
